Why does my puppy pee when meeting new people? Does spaying help?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | unspayed | 8 months and 12 days old | 65 lbs

My lab mix pup is 9 mos old she pees when people not us comes up to her if I delay spaying will it help?

This sounds more like submissive urinating that you are seeing with Molly. Molly is likely a little fearful, anxious or overly excited when meeting strangers and then this results in her urinating. This is not likely an incontinence issue. As Molly gets more used to these interactions I suspect she will be less likely to submissively urinate.

Delaying spaying can help with incontinence issues when female dogs are older but is not likely to help with Molly's submissive urination.
