My puppy is paralyzed. What should I do to help my puppy recover?

There could be lots of causes for this, including severe anemia or heart or lung disease causing profuse weakness, tick paralysis, neurologic disease, etc. I can't make a diagnosis without examining the puppy, so I would recommend that you have it evaluated by a vet for possible treatment options.

He could be smaller from lack of muscle. He may also be painful from his back which could cause him not to eat well so he isn’t growing normally. I recommend an exam with a Rehabilitation veterinarian or a veterinary acupuncturist. They are trained to treat dogs with pain and paralysis. Without xrays and records of the physical exam it is impossible to guess what might be causing these symptoms. Paralysis of 3 months in a young pup is unlikely to resolve bit referral to a specialist neurologist and orthopedic surgeon may provide a full diagnosis and highlight any possible treatment options. If he has limited mobility then quality of life should be assessed and it may not be fair to expect him to continue most especially if any incontinence develops

Without knowing the exact diagnosis and why she is not able to walk now , it would be very dangerous to recommend physiotherapy. If you have not done so yet, Lucy needs to be seen by a veterinarian and the cause of the paralysis needs to be found, whether it is a fracture or pinched or damaged nerves or a slipped disk caused by the accident. This exam by your vet will also determine if there is any hope at all for your dog to be able to regain movement in his hind legs. Physical therapy can actually damage your dog more, if there are certain nerves or fractures involved.

If you are able to, I would recommend having a veterinarian examine him so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I would take Gulli back into a vet immediately. It's quite serious that she has completely stopped walking, and she could have a serious problem with her back, neck, and/or hips preventing her from walking. Unfortunately, this sounds like a serious condition that needs to be seen by your vet again right away. If your regular vet couldn't help, seeking out another vet in person, or a specialist such as a neurologist may be a good idea to see what is going on with the puppy. Using aids such as a towel under the belly may help with walking and getting around, however the seizures are worrisome and need care in person.
