My puppy has been on metronidazole for a few weeks now. Emergency told us to use it for 10 days but her diarrhea came back so our vet said finish it up & prescribed royal canin hydrolyzed protein right now she's only eating bland boiled chicken. When on metronidazole her poop is normal but she doesn't go for days. Is it normal for her not wanting to eat her food? She will eat and drink and she's playful but she won't finish its just a few bites at a time. Can teething be a cause because she is?

Hello, Snowball may have a decreased appetite for various reasons. In puppies this can be intermittent due to growth spurs, teething, or vaccinations. Other potential causes are things like intestinal worms, infections, or getting into something they weren't supposed to. If snowball continues to not want to eat as she used to, I would bring this up to your veterinarian to have her further evaluated. Hope this helps.
