Right canine was ripped out while playing, will another grow back in? He is about 4 months old. Does he need to see a vet?

At 4 months old the lost canine is likely to be a baby tooth and should be followed by the permanent adult tooth (check the other side to ensure there is a slim, narrow baby tooth and not a strong, thick adult tooth). Be sure to monitor that the adult tooth grows straight when the baby tooth is not there to guide it. If he has lost the adult tooth this will not be replaced
