How to get my puppy to listen to my mom when he only obeys me?

Ollie cries and doesn't listen to you because she is still just a little baby. She may be having some minor adjustments in terms of being away from her mom and littermates, but mostly puppies are just crying out because they want attention or some resource. She is biting right now because she is in the teething phase of her development. Simply make sure she has ample toys and items to destroy. You should always keep one on your person to make sure you can hand it to her if she starts to bite something inappropriate. If she takes the toy instead, make sure to reward her appropriately. In time and with consistency, she will eventually chew on only the items that you have given to her. The more you train her and the more consistent you are, the more likely she is going to listen to you in the long term. She mostly isn't listening to you yet because she doesn't really know any commands yet at this age. Depending on what you plan on utilizing your puppy for, the most basic of commands are likely all that is required for a suitable household companion. Consider teacher her sit, down, stay, come, and heel first before anything more advanced. All of these can be taught with positive reinforcement using food as a motivating tool. This normally involves using treats or other rewards your pup enjoys, and teaching her that good things happen for her when she pays attention to you. Unfortunately this is never going to change unless every single person in the household is "training" Bear in the same way. That is just the reality of the situation. In this way, dogs are like children; they will go to the people who let them get away with the most stuff.

It really depends. If you haven't had any success on your own, a basic obedience class with you and Chestnut is a good idea. There, you can both work on the basics together under the supervision of a professional who can help guide you on techniques and get the two of you speaking the same language. Working with treat motivation, and working on the basics such as "look as me", "sit", "down", etc can help you get started with better listening as well.

Hi there. It sounds like Bea is having some trouble with her focus. While much of that is just being young and full of energy, I feel you would benefit from clicker training (a treat and reward system) as well as a well organized puppy class. Puppy classes are often offered at your local pet smart as well as through several trainers as help puppies to develop a sense of ability to socialize without being distracted enough by their surrounds that they ignore their owner. To many puppies-they see this as an exciting time to meet new friends and play with their owners. For us it is a wonderful area to help the puppies feel safe and bond with us over respect and learn boundaries. She is likely just reacting to stimuli (things she doesn't often get to see) and doesn't realize she's being "bad" as well as being full of energy. This will take a lot of patience and treats on your part when she performs or listens to you. She will get there, it is just a learning process.
