When is my young puppy old enough to get its very first bath?

As long as Luna is doing well at home, eating and drinking well and seems overall healthy, it should be perfectly fine to give her a bath. I would use a mild puppy or dog shampoo. 8 weeks old is the minimum age to begin bathing a puppy. Use a pet approved shampoo for puppies sensitive skin. She can be bathed every 6-8 weeks. You can use plain, unscented baby wipes or pet wipes to spot clean her in between baths. If you bathe her at night, dry her thoroughly and keep her war to prevent chill. It is best to bath her early in the day so she has ample time to dry off and doesn't go to sleep damp.

A gentle baby soap should be ok to use if that is all you have. Just use a small amount and make sure to rinse it off. Keep him in a warm place until he is dry. You should get a gentle dog shampoo for future use.

Aw Snoopy is adorable! Yes you can bathe him but I would use something very gentle like a puppy shampoo. I do not recommend using a flea shampoo as these can sometimes be too strong for puppies. Some flea shampoos may be ok for puppies this young, you should find the recommended age for the shampoo you are trying to use on the bottle itself.
