My dog has a high fever. Is it safe to give her Paracetamol?

Can i give Paracetamol to Candy? She is having high fever.

I would recommend against using this as a pain medication. Please read the following article ( https://www.petcoach.co/canigive/dog/tylenol/ ). I would consult with your veterinarian for recommendations on what to use. You can get a prescription medication from your veterinarian that is much safer. I would strongly advice to have all of them checked and have your female dog treated (antibiotics will be needed). Paracetamol can decrease body temperature but it is unlikely to help more than that and distemper can develop anyway. Distemper shots can be given if your dogs are not affected.

I personally don't recommend paracetamol for dogs due to the fact it has a narrow margin of safety and can be toxic to dogs if given a large enough amount. There are better and safer pain medications for Savannah that you get as a prescription from the vet. Given that this isn't working for her pain, I would take her back into the vet to discuss using prescription pain medications. I hope this helps!

Paracetamol and any other human fever meds are toxic to dogs, do not use them! If Brudo is not eating he must be very ill, you need to take him to the vet ASAP in order to get it checked and treated, he might be suffering from an infection that will require an antibiotic course.

Unfortunately no, there are no OTC medications that are safe enough to give Prince Tab. In addition, because I can't see him in person, even if there were ones it would be illegal for me to prescribe them to him. If he has a fever that is above 103F, then having him seen by a vet asap would be best. You can try to cool him down by placing him in a room with a fan. Best of luck!
