My puppy has diarrhea. How long for stool improvement after new food?

  It could be from something Molly ate, it looks like a bit of diarrhea. I can give you a home remedy for her to see if that helps. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If the diarrhea continues on the bland diet, she starts vomiting food, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away.   Poor girl. I would try switching her to a bland diet of boiled chicken and rice for a few days to see if the diarrhea clears up. You can also order a probiotic and add it to her food to help settle her tummy. Medications are not indicated for only 24 hours of diarrhea, but if it progresses or she starts having frank bloody diarrhea, she needs to be seen by a vet right away.

  There are many causes of diarrhea, a food change is just one possible cause. Others are: virus, ate something gross outside, intestinal parasites, toxin, etc.
  
  You can try feeding her a bland diet of boiled chicken or hamburger with rice. Feed about 2 cups per day until 1-2 normal stools. You can also try a probiotic like Purina fortiflora. I wouldn't wait too much longer before bringing her to your Vet. They can prescribe medications to help.
