My puppy cries in pain after distemper shot. Is this normal?

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | unspayed | 1 month and 20 days old | 1.6 lbs

she got her distemper shot today, and now about 3-4 hours later she continues to cry in pain even when no one touches her. could it be just tender where they injected it or should i take her back to the vet ??

Young puppies can be quite sensitive when they get their vaccines, and it can be painful for them. I would suspect that it's just tender when Peaches received her vaccine, but keep an eye on her. She should start feeling better by tomorrow, but if she is still crying in pain then, take her back into the vet. I hope this helps!
