I suggest you get a second opinion from a different vet. I’d be a bit worried about her having distemper or some type of GI obstruction. Those would be the first two rule outs. Has she had x-rays? She looks to be in terrible shape. I think a second opinion is needed as soon as possible.

Hi there and thank you for your post! Based on your description, the red eyes could be due to allergies, an eye infection or anxiety. I would recommend trying naturvet Quiet Moments calming chews with melatonin which you can find online or at your local Petco. The eyes may resolve on their own if this is an allergy, but if they continue to be red or worsen then I would recommend having a veterinarian take a look at him so that the most appropriate Diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns that you may have and I would be more than happy to help you further.

Bred sounds very bad off, and you cannot treat this at home. He has to see a vet now. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website.
