Hi, I have a 5-month-old puppy (Benji) & yesterday he got a hold of some chocolate chip cookies probably 1 or 2 and he seemed fine, I took him out for a walk then came back and gave him plenty of water. Then just this morning he woke up and he started to vomit. It wasn't much, just plain brown vomit. I took him out again after he had breakfast and I noticed that his poop was a red like diarrhea so I'm wondering if I should take him to the vet or if he will be ok? He does seem okay and is active

A small cookie may not cause serious toxicity. You may see some gastrointestinal upset such as vomiting and diarrhea. You can manage these with a 24 hour fast followed by a bland diet in small, frequent amounts until symptoms resolve.
Symptoms of concern include hyperactivity, rapid heart rate, tremors or seizures. These should be addressed by your veterinarian.
