What helps my puppy cope when alone: Adaptil or calming chewables?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 3 days old

I want to buy my puppy some type of aid to help him cope with being alone for 2-3 hours. I'm torn between the Adaptil diffuser and particular paws chewables. Please help.

I personally like the Adaptil diffuser. You simply have to plug it in, and it will diffuse the pheromones in the room helping to calm Teddy. You don't have to give him a pill, which some dogs hate taking and may add more stress. I personally recommend using the diffuser.
