Congrats on Snowy's pregnancy! I don't think it's likely to cause any harm to the pregnancy. As long as she doesn't sustain any serious trauma along the way! Even the stress of a vet visit with a very nervous mama dog will not harm the puppies in a normal pregnancy. Unless this is a life-threatening reaction, I wouldn't advise using any drugs while she is pregnant. If she develops itching, trouble breathing, pale membranes, vomiting or other signs, I would advise contacting your veterinarian or a local emergency veterinarian for advice. Drug use during pregnancy should be avoided at all costs in my opinion. Maybe trying a hypoallergenic oatmeal shampoo and leaving the lather on her for 10 minutes may help ease the situation. Instead, feed her puppy food (extra calories for her growing pups!) and plenty of fresh water. Continue feeding puppy food until her puppies have weaned, then transition her back to adult dog food.
