How much water should my 2-month-old Pomeranian puppy drink daily?

Hello, puppies in general have a higher demand of water per body weight. It does not always mean that your puppy is going to drink as much or more water than an adult dog in total volume, but the puppy will drink more water per pound than an adult dog. The average dog drinks about a 1/2 ounce to 1 ounce of water per pound of body weight in a day. If your puppy weighs almost 10 pounds she would need between 5 and 10 ounces of water for the day to stay hydrated.

Chewing rocks and other strange objects is common in puppies. It is part of their oral exploration of their environment as they develop. It is also common while they are teething. Try not prevent the behaviour if you can by replacing the rocks with more appropriate chew toys. Yes you can start mixing dry food with canned food. You may have to soften it with some warm water at first but they should be able to transition to plain dry food pretty soon. I would put the puppies on puppy food to help them grow. I recommend puppy food until they are 1 year old. The mom should be on adult food now that she isn’t nursing them anymore. I hope this helps.
