Does Petco perform puppy neuter or cherry eye surgery? What's cost?

PetCo's that offer veterinary services (VetCo) are for wellness and vaccinations only. I would check out the SPCA for low cost pay and neuter events. Some Petco locations have a full-service veterinary clinic inside them which can do neuters (like a Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach clinic or Thrive vet clinic). Petco locations that use Vetco do not do surgery (neutering).

Hello, This is a forum for general pet advice. You will have to contact local veterinarians for estimates for surgical procedures. As Brooklyn needs to be neutered for health reasons, this means it is not a routine and simple procedure though. Only the Petco's who offer physical clinics would be able to offer a spay. You can find information about these locations on Petco.com. Scroll down to the veterinary services. The cost of a spay will vary based upon the age, size, health issues and heat cycle. Your pup will need a physical exam to get a correct estimate. Only Petco stores with a new Thrive veterinary hospital inside them will be able to do spaying. I'm not sure if there is one in your area. Your less expensive option is to have it done at the Humane Society or your local spay/neuter clinic. ( https://www.dakinhumane.org/ )

Unfortunately, there are no veterinary clinics located in Petco stores in your area - yet. You can get vaccinations done at Vetco vaccination clinics, as well as heartworm and flea and tick prevention. Be sure you get Tars in before he is 6 months of age, and he won't need a heartworm test. He should also be dewormed against intestinal parasites.
