How much do Petco's dog wellness plans cost and what's included?

There are other hospitals that have wellness programs, which is kind of like health insurance but it isn't accepted at any other facility. The prices for veterinary hospitals vary greatly depending on the area where you live and what type of clinic you are going to (corporate such as Banfield, a private practice or a shelter that has a spay/neuter/vaccine clinic). You could call around to your local options to get pricing for an initial exam and shots, and then would be able to discuss surgical needs during that appointment. Good luck!

Unfortunately, there are no veterinary clinics located in Petco stores in your area - yet. You can get vaccinations done at Vetco vaccination clinics, as well as heartworm and flea and tick prevention. Be sure you get Tars in before he is 6 months of age, and he won't need a heartworm test. He should also be dewormed against intestinal parasites. Finally, you can get nail trimming and anal gland expression done at the grooming salon in your Petco, and most of them even offer training. So pick the one that is most convenient for you!

Some Petco locations have a full-service veterinary clinic inside them which can do neuters (like a Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach clinic or Thrive vet clinic). Petco locations that use Vetco do not do surgery (neutering).
