How much does Petco dog training cost for my new dog or puppy?

I am afraid we do not train puppies. You can take part in puppy classes at scheduled at PetCo, or hire a trainer in your area. You can find out about puppy classes by calling your local pet store. If you put "dog trainer in 84801" into your browser, it will come up with trainers you can call.

Unfortunately, there are no veterinary clinics located in Petco stores in your area - yet. You can get vaccinations done at Vetco vaccination clinics, as well as heartworm and flea and tick prevention. Be sure you get Tars in before he is 6 months of age, and he won't need a heartworm test. He should also be dewormed against intestinal parasites. I like to train with my dog and start in a group obedience class. That way Kobe learns to listen to you with other dogs around. Obedience training is fun and you'll both enjoy it. I took my dog to several different classes with different trainers as he grew up. Training can be needed for the first year or two to have a well behaved dog. If you are having problems then I'd get one on one training. Personally I only send hunting dogs away for specialized training. Mocha is very cute! Thanks for including a picture. Training is always recommended at any age! You will need to contact your local Petco to discuss which class will be best for Mocha, but in general puppy play time is only a short play time for young puppies. If Mocha has not done any classes yet, start with a basic obedience class and get her used to being in a small area with other dogs. If she does well with that and you want to get her more play time with other dogs, then I would look into a doggy day care near you since she likely has enough energy for a prolonged play time.
