My senior terrier has developed sebaceous adenomas and seborrhea in his old age. I just found a huge oily scab on his back. It is black a nd crusty on the outside and yellow gooey on the inside with a raw raised welt underneath. No blood really. Not sure if the discharge is pus or sebum. He had a smaller version of theirs a year ago. I disinfected it and it quickly went away but left a scar. Any ideas what this could be or why it keeps happening? Thank you!!
