How often should a Labrador puppy pee and poop throughout the day?

She should go anytime now really, urine more often than poo. She may be holding it in with all tge excitement. Don't worry too much, she should urinate soon if you let her down on the ground. You would expect her to poo a couple of times in the day.

Sometimes puppies will defecate more frequently if they are excited. Yes a puppy usually will go potty once every 6-8 hrs, so this is quite normal. You can't force a pet to go 1 time a day. In fact that is detrimental to the health of a pet to hold it in for that long. A pet that holds its urine for more than 8 hrs is at high risk of getting a urinary tract infection and if that pet also holds its poop, it is high risk for constipation issues. Please allow your pet to go outside regularly. If you are unable to do so because of your work schedule, then consider hiring a dog walker or someone you trust to let Jenny outside for her needed potty breaks. Yes it is likely the extra fiber. No worries here whatsoever. Some puppies do poop quite a bit and 2-3 times a day is normal as long as the poop is solid. Bailey should go outside after every meal as well as every 2 to 3 hours. As Bailey gets older you will likely be able to decrease the frequency of going outside but that will all depend on her response to initial training.

As long as he is behaving normally otherwise, that is fine. Some days he may go more than others. If you are bottle-feeding, stimulate him to go after each feeding. This is done by using a warm washcloth and gently circling his genitals until he urinates and defecates.

At 3 months old, she's still in the middle of the house training process and it's normal for her to have multiple bowel movements a day. Keep working on the house training and being consistent. Using a crate at night could help her hold if through the night, but she may also need you to set an alarm and take her out for another month or two.
