I have a new rescue puppy. How can I identify her breed or mix?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! He is adorable! He is a mixed breed dog but a predominant breed is hard to guess as he looks very well mixed. I would say that he has some characteristics of a Newfoundland and a Bernese mountain dog. I would say that he is likely to be a medium-sized breed dog to perhaps a bit larger. Good luck!

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Snow is so cute! I’d definitely say a Labrador mix. But what that “mix” consists of is anyone’s guess. I can see the Apple head chihuahua being a possibility but I don’t see pit bull so much in these pictures. Regardless, she is cute and you are a lucky, wonderful person for adding her to your life!

Hello. What a sweetie! I always go with what jumps out at me, so I see primarily Pit Bull or Staffordshire Terrier, Shar-Pei, & maybe a touch of Boston Terrier. Quite a mix! Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

To better predict his age, it would be helpful to examine his mouth specifically his dentition. However, he is probably about 3 months old. Good luck and have a great day!

Hi, thanks for using PetCoach! Cooper is adorable! He is a mix breed so it is just a guess. He looks like he could be a shepherd or australian shepherd mix. I see Rat terrier in his face in the middle picture. We may never know. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! They are mixed breed dogs with German shorthaired pointer, Beagle and possibly some Pitbull in my opinion. You could consider having them DNA tested to know more precisely. Best of luck!

She looks big! From her head shape, I would think there is some Great Dane in her. I can't tell you for sure if she may be full Great Dane or a mix, but her paws, head shape, short coat, and coloring and very similar to a Great Dane.
