Why does my house-trained dog mark when an unneutered dog visits?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Siamese | Male | neutered | 8 lbs

My Luna isn’t neutered yet. When my daughters dog who is neutered and housebroke come to visit he pees in the house (the dog not the cat) do you think there’s a connection?

It is possible, but it is also possible he is urine marking because if he was only neutered in the last few months, or merely because there is a new cat present.
