Is my homemade rice, chicken, veggie mix good for puppies and mom?

I recommend using a website called balanceit.com, which uses formulas set up by a veterinary nutritionist to help you put together a complete and balanced diet using whatever ingredients you choose.

You could add some meat or chicken to your puppies dog food but your puppy needs to have some dog food because it is nutritionally balanced for a puppy. Feeding just meat/ chicken and rice is not recommended because your puppy would not be getting the proper nutrition. If you need to make a home cooked diet, boiled/boneless/skinless chicken breasts with boiled rice along with added cooked vegetables is a good idea (pumpkin, carrots, broccoli, etc.). You can add in vegetables to make it more balanced. Avoid raw food and bones as they cause many dietary issues. No this is not an adequate diet for your puppy, your puppy needs a diet very high in meat, most of his diet should consist of meat. the easiest and usually cheapest way to feed a puppy is to buy a ready made dry food from the petshop.
