Golden Retriever puppy: Purebred, quality, and dog introduction tips?

Are these pure breed golden retrievers? Which one is of good quality? I prefer the golden one. We are bringing the puppy within 2 weeks. We have an adopted street dog luna, She is a 5 month puppy. And will they be happy and friendly with eachother??

They appear to be pure bred Goldens but you should see pedigree papers. That is the only way to prove it. You can not tell by how they look. Also you can not tell quality at this age. You should ask the breeder to see the parents, be sure they are vaccinated and cared for, have had their hips checked, etc. You can also tell quality from the Pedigree papers. I also think the darker one is better looking but I can't speak for it's quality.

Since your dog Luna is also young they should get along with each other. But that is impossible to predict and dogs go through their social and behavioral maturity around 2 years of age. I have seen happy relationships change around that time.

Is my puppy a Golden Retriever? What size and fur type will it be?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This looks like a Beautiful Golden Retriever puppy. He would be expected to grow as large as a Golden Retriever so in between 65-75 pounds and his haircoat should be the same as any other Golden Retriever. Best of luck!

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Benelly looks like a golden retriever. I don't know what to say about the health card, they aren't official. The only way to know for sure is to have his AKC/CCK or other pure bred papers. Otherwise we can only go on what he looks like! I hope this helps!

Is my Golden Retriever a good fit for breeding? Age & health.

You should check both pedigrees to ensure there are no common ancestors or in-breeding in the previous 4 generations and also have both dogs hip and elbow scored to ensure they have no evidence of dysplasia, consider eye testing also. Retrievers females should be 15mths+ before breeding to ensure there bones are mature enough and will not be stunted or create any problems with future development or labor and delivery

To accurately know your dogs breed it would be based on both of Duke's parents being registered with a legitimate registration organization like the AKC. That is the only way you could prove to someone buying Duke's puppies, if you chose to breed him. Without proof of lineage it is hard. You may have to wait until he is full grown to see how he looks. There are DNA blood tests that can help but personally I think the accuracy isn't the best.
