I have noticed a wheezing after my dog barks and a light sounding tone almost hoarse to her bark also. She does not excessively pant but when she does theres a rapspy sound too it though not that noticeable.

I am suspicious that she may be developing a condition called laryngeal paralysis. This can be a mild change or it can become quite dramatic in time. Other possibile causes include problems such as tonsillitis or even a mass/tumor in the pharyngeal area. I would highly encourage you to have her evaluated by your veterinarian as soon as possible. Often a sedated pharyngeal exam in necessary to make a diagnosis. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.
