Is my 11-year-old Lab's weird walk and big eyes a neurological issue?

That sounds concerning for a neurological issue with Mollie although in an older pet, arthritis can also affect how a pet walks. Neurological disease can be an issue by it's self but can also be caused by liver disease, toxins or electrolyte imbalances. I would recommend to take Mollie into a vet as soon as you can for an exam and likely bloodwork. Sometimes it can can be vestibular disease which resolves on it's own. Best to get her checked out. What you are describing makes me wonder if Ivy has a problem with her balance or something else neurological that makes her movements abnormal. I would recommend taking some video of her walking and have your veterinarian evaluate them. If she has always moved that way, then there may not be anything to do about it, but if her movement is getting worse, I would have your veterinarian perform a neurological examination to see if there is anything abnormal. I'm sorry Jay is having trouble walking! In a senior lab, common causes of difficulty walking include arthritis, hip dysplasia, and joint problems. My recommendation is to have Jay seen by a vet in the morning. The vet can diagnose what is causing his difficulty walking, and can discuss treatment with you. He may benefit from some pain medications, which the vet can prescribe. Please do not give him any human pain medications, as many are toxic to dogs and can be fatal if given.

That is very odd behavior for Baxter. If your normal veterinarian cannot figure it out, record the episode and see a veterinary neurologist. It is possible that there is something abnormal in the connections within her brain. If she has not had bloodwork run recently to check her blood sugar levels, it could be related to that as well and I advise to get those checked. During that time, they will also evaluate the liver to make sure that it is normal. There is a new diet made by Purina called Neurocare and that may be something that could be beneficial to Baxter. It sounds like what you are describing is weakness. Did your pup have a neurologic exam? What we look for is evidence of pain (although this can sometimes be inconsistent in pets), loss of sensation to the feet (does he fail to flip his foot back over when the top of his foot is placed down?), and presence or absence of reflexes. The results of these tests can help to determine if it's neurologic in origin and what portion of the spinal cord may be affected. Although, it can sometimes be hard to differentiate orthopedic from neurologic disease. Plain xrays of the spine are helpful to rule out any bony abnormalities, and sometimes we can see evidence of narrow disc spaces, but ultimately we cannot see the spinal cord, nerves leaving the spinal cord, or the soft tissues. If a neurologic problem is suspected an MRI is often needed. But, there are also some other conditions that can cause weakness that are metabolic in origin (has your guy had any senior lab work recently?) or related to loss of signaling to the muscles (for example a disease called myasthenia gravis) or related to a degenerative process such as degenerative myelopathy. If there is a component of pain detected on exam then anti-inflammatory pain medication may help. If you feel like things are getting worse it would be a good time to have a re-evaluation with your family vet. Another option as well, if a neurologic process is suspected, would be to have a consult with a veterinary neurologist. I am sorry max is not feeling well. Typically diarrhea is not associated with a neurological disease. The diarrhea could be caused by diet, infectious diseases, and cancers. The abnormal walking can be caused my severe arthritis or neurological disease. I would continue to see your veterinarian tomorrow for better assessment and diagnostics like bloodwork and x-rays.
