My dog is vomiting white foam and pressing his head. What should I do?

It is concerning that he has thrown up so many times in just a few hours. I would most certainly have him seen by a veterinarian ASAP. He may have stomach inflammation or a more serious issue like a gastrointestinal obstruction.

Problems within the GI tract can include obstruction, eating foreign material, inflammation, parasites, etc. Systemic diseases that make pets nauseous include liver/kidney disease or pancreatitis. If Bubba continues to vomit and unable to keep even water down I would recommend having her seen by a veterinarian. Severe vomiting can lead to dehydration and abnormalities in some electrolytes. If there is any abdominal enlargement or pain he needs to be assessed by a vet as an emergency - non-productive/white foamy vomit is very concerning in a dog which is eating as it can indicate an obstruction.
