My dog is throwing up, weak, with pale gums. What should I do?

Loss of appetite can be observed with many conditions such as gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, kidney disease, pancreatitis, among many other possibilities. This could absolutely be due to anemia given her pale mucous membranes. I recommend that you have Snow evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Poor Boomer! I'm afraid this sounds quite serious. It's hard to say what might be going on without being able to examine him in person and run some tests, but these are very concerning symptoms. Pale pink gums are generally a sign of shock or blood loss, which is a medical emergency. Abdominal pain, lethargy, and not eating or drinking could be caused by a number of different things including pancreatitis, an intestinal obstruction, a systemic illness like liver or kidney disease, a bleeding abdominal tumor, or ingestion of something toxic. This sounds like it may be a life-threatening problem, so I would recommend taking Boomer to the vet immediately for an exam. He/she can do blood work and x-rays if needed to help diagnose the problem and get him started on appropriate treatment depending on what is found.

I would recommend that you have Puma examined by a vet as soon as possible. Possible causes of vomiting and pale gums includes intestinal parasites, GI blockage, gastroenteritis, bacterial or viral infection, among a few others. After examination, the vet may recommend bloodwork, viral testing for parvo virus, or x-rays to look for an intestinal blockage.

White gums are a sign of shock or anemia. Anemia can be from internal bleeding or destruction of the red blood cells. Shock could be from pancreatitis or a blockage from ingestion of a foreign body. He needs to be re-examined and have blood work and X-rays done. I wish you all the best!

Fido needs to see a veterinarian immediately. White gums can be a sign of anemia (not enough red blood cells) or low blood pressure and bad circulation. These can be life threatening and need immediate attention. Please have him seen immediate by your local veterinary emergency hospital. Good luck.

It sounds as Moko is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.
