My dog vomits frequently but seems fine. When is a vet needed?

Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund | Male | unneutered | 9 months and 3 days old | 19 lbs

My dog has vomited ever since a pup but I am wondering if it is something I should be concerned about. He does everything as normal eats sleeps and plays and drinks. I don't havw the money to go to the vet unless absolutely necessary please help

The answer depends on how often Prince is vomiting. All dogs vomit at times in their lives, but it's not normal if he is vomiting on a weekly or monthly basis. Should he be vomiting that frequently, then yes I would think it's necessary for him to see a vet. He could be suffering from a medical problem causing the vomiting, such as irritable bowel disease. I would have him seen by a vet sometime this week if possible.
