My shiba has thrown up at least twice today. She ate about an hour ago and threw up mostly food. She's not acting abnormal, she was playing with one of the other dogs. Her gums are a little dark, I tried to press it but can't see it turn lighter. What could be wrong?

At that age they are prone to some infections that affect the stomach and intestines, which is likely what is causing the vomiting and diarrhea.
It sounds mild and not overly concerning right now. His gum color looks good! Thanks for including that. If he is very lethargic and seems really sad, then it may indicate that something more is going on and he should go to the vet soon.
If he's just a little off, but otherwise acting normal, then it's OK to wait a day or two to see if he gets better. If more than two days go by and he's still vomiting and having diarrhea, then it's best to take him to the vet.
In the meantime just feed a little (one table spoon) at a time (every two hours). Make sure there is plenty of water available.

I hope that helps and little Riley gets better soon.
