How to treat a dog's toe bump at home before a vet appointment?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | 4 years old | 19 lbs

My dog has a bump between his toes what are at home treatments i can do at home? Just till I can get him into a vet.

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. You should clean the wound with boiled, warm water and cotton buds after each walk, at least twice a day. Dry the paw with a soft tissue after cleaning. If you have an antiseptic solution, like 4% chlorhexidine you can add it to water. Also, make sure that Rowdy doesn't lick or chew the bump.
