My dog tied in the wrong hole during breeding. Is my female dog okay?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Male | unneutered | 48 lbs

My experienced stud just tied in the anus of a first time female. Are they both going to be ok? Has this ever happened. She has much shorter legs and so it seemed caused him to get locked in the wrong hole.

It should be fine; most importantly, do absolutely nothing to spook either dog as you don't want them pulling at each other when stuck in her rectum. The rectal tissuecis very delicate, but it is also rather elastic. Once the male dog has untied monitor the bitch closely for any bleeding or signs of discomfort. If you are concerned she may be damaged at all take her to a vet to have a gentle rectal exam.
