Why is my 2-year-old pug throwing up yellow stuff for two days?

It sounds as Pavi is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better. if the vet thinks it is more serious she will need a blood test and possibly an ultrasound in order to find out what is wrong.

I would recommend that you have Puma examined by a vet as soon as possible. Possible causes of vomiting and pale gums includes intestinal parasites, GI blockage, gastroenteritis, bacterial or viral infection, among a few others. After examination, the vet may recommend bloodwork, viral testing for parvo virus, or x-rays to look for an intestinal blockage.

I would recommend seeing a veterinarian as soon as possible. These symptoms are suspicious for a pyometra, or uterine infection, which can be life threatening if not treated promptly. There are many other diseases that can cause a decrease in appetite and vomiting, but if it has been going on for two days I think it's best to see a vet to determine what's going on.

There are a number of potential causes of such clinical signs, including dietary indiscretion, pancreatitis, forgein body obstruction, parasite infestation, infection, and ingestion of a toxin or poison. Because you have only noticed these signs over the course of a few hours I would continue to monitor Puffy at home. Rest Puffy's gastrointestinal tract by holding back food for a few hours. Then you can continue with a bland and easily digested food of the boiled chicken breast and white rice diet and provide plenty of fresh water. If Puffy does not improve, has nonstop vomiting or diarrhoea, you notice fresh blood, Puffy seems lethargic, in pain or depressed I would advise a trip to the veterinarian immediately. I hate to hear that Bruno is sick. While infection is possible, other causes such as an intestinal blockage or pancreatitis (to name a few) could also cause the vomiting. When pets don't respond to treatment as expected, it can mean that the real cause of the illness has not been identified. I recommend to call your veterinarian and tell them what is happening. If your pet has vomited this much in the past 45 minutes I would be very suspicious of a foreign body or a very intense dietary indiscretion (eating something he shouldn't have). I would recommend you start supportive care (like Famotiidne 05-1.0mg/kg every 12 hrs and a bland diet like Purina EN Gastrointestinal canned food OR boiled plain chicken and rice or cottage cheese. However there is a big possibility that this could have been a toxicity and if any more symptoms start to arise (such as ataxia (staggering) or shaking, crying out) then I highly recommend you seek a personal veterinarian for a physical examination and further diagnostics. - Dr. H

Poor Milo. It could be a number things causing this including a severe GI illness, eating something rotten, a foreign body, pancreatitis, or an illness like kidney disease. It's concerning he's been throwing up all around the house today, so I think it's best he sees a vet now. I'd recommend taking him into one immediately.
