Why is my dog suddenly not eating and acting unlike herself?

Hello. Is she interested in any treats at all? If this is totally out of character for her, I do worry that there may be something amiss. It would not hurt to have her checked out today if possible, especially since this is a holiday weekend. Hopefully, this is nothing & she will start eating soon. Hi, has anything changed in the environment ? For example is the weather hotter than previously ? Does she still have same access to food and resources and outside (if going outside)? If nothing has changed there is the possibility that she is feeling under the weather and I would recommend to have her checked over.

Lack of eating and drinking are often the first sign that something is amiss. Unfortunately, they are very non-specific signs of illness. I would recommend Honey be evaluated by a veterinarian ASAP if she is not eating or drinking.

He may be showing signs of dietary indiscretion which can happen from eating something that does not sit well in the stomach. Clinical symptoms that can occur include not eating, vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal pain. Sometimes this resolves on its own. However, sometimes this does require some form of therapy which is mostly supportive in nature. It could be Zoey is in a lot of pain or she could be quite sick. I would keep a very close eye on her for now, and if she is still acting this way in the morning, have her seen by a vet. If she starts vomiting or has diarrhea, take her into a vet immediately.

I'm not sure if she's eating more or less, but typically when a dog's eating habits change, a visit to the vet is recommended. That's because a change in eating habits can signal a medical illness, and the vet is the best person to diagnose if something like that is happening.
