My dog stopped eating and is very lazy. Should I take him to the vet?

Poor Pocholo! It definitely sounds like he isn't feeling well for some reason. Unfortunately, these symptoms are very vague and could be caused by almost any type of illness or injury, so there's no way to say what might be wrong without being able to examine him. I would recommend taking him to the vet for a check-up as soon as you are able to - he/she can do some blood work or other testing if needed to help determine what's wrong and get him started on appropriate treatment for the problem.

Your dog needs to be seen by your vet as soon as possible. Any abrupt change in behavior or attitude is a sign he's not feeling well, and without an exam from a vet there's no real way to know what's going on and therefore, how to treat it. He could have eaten something he shouldn't have that's causing an obstruction or irritation, he could have been exposed to something toxic that you weren't aware of, there's a number of possibilities. Your vet will do an exam, lab work, possibly x-rays if indicated, and based on these results, your vet will be better able to understand what is going on with your dog and how best to treat him.

This is an emergency. If you suspect a pesticide you should call the pet poison control helpline. Otherwise, when I see older animals present this way through the ER I am very worried about abdominal bleeding from a tumor. I would not wait. He should be see by a vet ASAP.

The clinical signs you describe are concerning when they occur in a puppy as they can be seen with serious gastrointestinal infections such as Parvovirus. Other possibilities include intestinal worms and dietary indiscretion, among other possibilities. The sooner these conditions are treated the better the outcome tends to be. For this reason, I recommend that you have Tiger evaluated by your veterinarian to check for these possibilities and to start therapy based on findings. Togi sounds quite sick, and you need to have him treated by a vet. The underlying illness causing his loss of appetite, weakness, and diarrhea needs to be treated so his appetite can increase. Please take him into a vet now.

I'm sorry to hear that Twinkle hasn't been feeling well today. I would recommend that he is seen by his veterinarian. There may be something on the physical exam that will point to a diagnosis such as joint pain. He may also need laboratory work to determine the cause of this sudden change in him.
