Why is my dog's stomach loud and he won't eat but he drank water?

Vomiting and diarrhea can occur as a result of a virus, parasites, stomach upset from eating different foods or treats, among other health conditions. If he is acting normally and still able to keep water down, you can try monitoring him at home first by withholding food for 12-24 hours. After that time, offer a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken and white rice for a few days, then gradually transition back to his normal diet over another 5-7 days. However, if Buster's vomiting or diarrhea worsen, or if he becomes lethargic and stops drinking, a trip to the vet will be in order to assure that he has not become dehydrated and to get to the bottom of the problem. It sounds like Buster's tummy is upset. This could be due to many reasons including bacterial overgrowth, a medication reaction, stomach acid, dietary intolerance or perhaps an oncoming disease like kidney disease. I recommend to play it safe and have Buster examined. The doctor may recommend to check his blood levels to make sure everything is ok internally. The signs you are describing can be due to dietary indiscretion (a treat, human food, or something Watson shouldn’t be getting into outside), inflammatory bowel disease, or a food sensitivity. I recommend having Watson seen by his vet to make sure his diet is appropriate, and rule out intestinal parasites, infections, and food sensitivities. I am very sorry to hear that Mr Dolly isn't himself. I would try to tempt him to eat with boiled boneless chicken breast and white rice. This diet is bland and easily digested in case he has a gastrointestinal concern brewing, but also highly palatable. It is okay for a dog to fast for many hours, and is often their instinct when their gastrointestinal tract is upset. If Mr. Dolly continues to refuse to eat, starts to vomit or have diarrhoea, you notice any blood, he is lethargic or depressed I would advise a trip to the veterinarian.
