My small dog is still limping after vet care. What should I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | spayed | 16 lbs

My 3 year old Shitzu mix has been limping on her left rear leg for a month, I had her to the vet and he gave for joint health and said to massage her hip, but it doesn't seem to be helping her.she weighs 17 lbs.any ideas what I can do?

My best guess is that Buffy has a luxating patella. I suggest you get a second opinion from another vet. This is very common in small breed dogs. Surgery is recommended in most cases.
