Pet's info: Dog | Border Collie | Female | spayed | 10 months and 1 day old | 38 lbs
Hi I have a 9 month old borde collie girl Maya. When she was 5 months old she started having stifness in both her hind legs, stiff when rising from lying down. She also Intermittently limps on both hind legs, but not every day. Sometimes she crys out if you touch her hind legs other times she doesn't. She is fine when out on a walk and can run around the garden no problem. She also runs upstairs ( if I accidentally leave the dog gate open ) any advice would be appreciated. Thankyou

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I recommend taking him to a vet for an exam. I would be concerned his bones may not have formed right after birth or something could be out of place. They will probably need to take x-rays of his spine and hips to see the joints clearly. If anything, they can send home some medications to ease his discomfort. Good luck and kisses to your pup!
