My dogs skin is breaking out. She’s getting sores/bumps under her skin. When she scratches them they scab and leave what Looks like deep digs in her skin. It will heel but she looses her hair there. It’s stsrtibg to spread more as she continues to lick. It was in a controlled area but then we start to see random ones coming up in other places. Is it a baterical infenction or allergy break out?

Cas could be having these reoccurrence skin issues for many reasons including flea bites, skin mites, allergies, or a diet not high enough in fatty acids. I recommend to treat her with a reputable flea product and start her on an omega-3 fatty acid supplement. If this does not help with in 2 to 4 weeks, have her examined by her veterinarian. Of course you do always have the option to go to the veterinarian right away and this will likely provide you with an answer the fastest. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
