My dog's skin infection healed, but still has odd spots. What now?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Parson Russell Terrier | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 5 months old | 20.1 lbs

My Parson Russell had a skin infection and it healed via topical cream, yet he still has some suspicious areas - bathed in medicated shampoo as well.

These lesions may be in the healing process. Keep an eye on them for a few days, if they aren't getting better or seem to be spreading, have Curtis re-examined by the vet. He may need a biopsy to figure out what the active process is.
