My dog is very sick, not eating, having seizures, and no urine. Help!

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

My father's no breed dog, female about 1 year old, suddenly won't eat. Then had yellow goop in one eye.In a remote area.I administered subcutaneous LRS & syringed some vitamins and antibiotics.I'm not sure now if it's Distemper.3 days SubQ,no urine.I found out they gave 2 tablespoons baking soda with 1 teaspoon maybe of salt days ago.All I could find is the symptoms for Baking Soda poisoning is the same as Distemper. She's just on her side seizures. If I touch her rump or stomach, reacts violently.

It sounds like she is very sick. Several days of no urine means either severe dehydration or kidney failure (which could cause similar symptoms). Without sending in sample to a diagnostic lab, there is no way to determine if this is Distemper or something else. She desperately needs to see a vet for IV treatment and diagnostics. The very least you can do is continue the LRS - you can't give too much in this case.
