My dog has a strange patch. Could it be ringworm? How to tell?

How can you tell if your dog has ringworm?

Ringworm has a characteristic round shape, and while it doesn't appear Maverick has ringworm from your picture, without seeing him in person, I can't say for certain. I would take him into the vet in the morning, and the vet can diagnose if he has ringworm with a Wood's lamp and/or fungal culture. If he does have ringworm, the vet can prescribe treatment for it. You will also have to disinfect your house, as ringworm spores live up to 18 months in the home. I will put a link below on how to do this:
