My dog weighs 48 lbs and my vet prescribed her 100 mg Rimadyl TWICE a day for hip dysplasia and arthritis pain. I’ve only given her one pill this evening but worried about giving another in the morning. Isn’t that twice the recommended dose for her weight? I’m concerned about toxicity. Thanks for your advice.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I can’t see the other side of the label but the dose should be 1/2 tablet twice daily.
Call your vet to double check if you have any further questions.
Best of luck to you and Clara!
