What is this inflamed red patch of skin on my dog near his testicles? Is it some infection? Any home remedies? Doesn’t bother him.

Oh they do look red and swollen. I would take Tucker into a vet first thing in the morning. He could have a skin infection causing the rash, and that also be causing the color. It could be as well that he has a problem with his testicles causing the swelling like epididymitis. I hope this helps.

This could be a skin reaction to overgrooming, or inflammation of the testicles or even caused by a serious disease such as brucellosis, or a testicular torsion. The photo is not very clear. This is obviously a condition that is very painful. Please take Peanut to a veterinarian for an exam, pain medicine and treatment according to your vet´s exam findings.

Place an e-collar (cone) on him to prevent licking or chewing. He may need to be seen by your veterinarian for treatment. This may include antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medications. Your veterinarian can determine if it is an abrasion or something else.
