You can treat this at home. 1. Make sure his environment is always clean and dry. 2. Get this topical spray hydrogel and apply it to the affected area 2-3 times per day until healed. I would recommend an Elizabethan collar as he is most likely licking at it, even if you don't see him do it. If it is now resolved by Monday I would definitely take him to the veterinarian.
