My dog has red scabs or rash on his hind legs and privates. What is it?

Zeus could have allergies and a skin infection. You could bathe him with a medicated dog shampoo, like Epi-soothe and see if that helps. Also, inspect him for fleas and use a monthly flea prevention, like Frontline. If his condition continues then he needs to be seen by a vet for treatment. Hi! It looks like Riley may have a skin infection- they commonly occur on the stomach area. Typically they're caused by bacteria or yeast, and can be secondary to allergies, so that would explain the itchiness. I'd take him to your vet, they may want to examine his skin to figure out what kind of infection, and recommend medications for the infection and the itching.

There are a variety of causes for this, such as trauma, infection (bacterial or fungal), an immune disease or a type of skin cancer.
