my lab, of 4 years old, I recently noticed has had a break out of these red bumps along his stomach, groin, and hind legs. Also a few scattered else where on his body, but mostly concentracted to his stomach adn hind legs. Earlier today they looked like pimples, but I gave him a good bath with a medicated shampoo. The red dots are itchy, along with most of his body. When scratched, he kicks his legs. (which he would normally do, only to certain spots though and not with such light pressure).

I'm sorry to hear Riley is having skin issues. Skin lesions if that kind can have a variety of causes, such as allergies, a skin infection, parasites (fleas or mites) or an underlying medical issue. I would recommend he be evaluated by his regular veterinarian to determine the underlying cause for his skin lesions and start on any treatment (antibiotics, anti-itch medication, parasiticide) that may be needed. Good luck!
