My puppy has red, inflamed ears. What to do if no vet is open?

It's not an immediate emergency but it is definitely very uncomfortable and painful, if you have the option to take him today to the out of hours vet i would recommend doing that, otherwise take him to your vet first thing tomorrow morning.

This year does look pretty ouchy. You can try cleaning it was something like epiotic advanced ear cleaner but with how swollen it is it may not be very successful. Your best option is to take Cedric to the veterinarian as soon as they're open and can see you to get this addressed. Fortunately most of these respond quite quickly to therapy. Do not give him any human pain medication as it could be very toxic to dogs.

Poor Scout! If he is really lethargic or walking in circles then I would have him seen today as it could be an inner ear infection. But if he is otherwise acting okay except for shaking his head or pawing at it then yes, it can wait until tomorrow.
