Hi, my dogs lips look red and irritated. It has also started to spread to his nose, making it dry and chapped. It’s been like this for about a week.

This is likely to be a superficial skin inflammation which can result from an allergic reaction or possibly a trauma or infection.
A check up, appropriate disinfection and possibly antibiotics (oral, topical or in a shampoo formulation) are needed to solve the problem.
Disinfection can eventually be started at home with very diluted hibiscrub or betadine or salted water baths. Buster collar may be useful as well to avoid any licking.
