I can certainly understand being concerned about Bruski! He is in need of immediate veterinary attention, as if the cat scratched his eye, he could now have an infection in his eye. Poor Piper! I'm sorry to hear that she hurt her eye - what rotten timing! Without seeing the injury, it's hard to say whether this is something that will cause permanent damage or not. Minor eye injuries such as corneal scratches are relatively common in dogs, and usually heal up very well with antibiotics and anti-inflammatories with no long-term effects. But if the eye has actually been punctured, or if any of the internal structures have been damaged, this could potentially result in long term problems or even vision loss in the affected eye.
