Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 20 lbs
My dog showed up with this rash. Any idea what it is? Red dots that have dry skin and shedding a lot.

I don't think either of those will help much, but they won't hurt, just make sure that your dog doesn't lick it off. This rash looks evident of chronic inflammation, which could be caused by atopy, flea allergies, food allergies, chronic yeast or bacterial infection, mites, etc. I would recommend that you have your dog examined by a vet so that the actual cause of the rash can be diagnosed and treated to prevent flare-ups on the skin.

If it does not seem to bothering him that much you can try using this antimicrobial spray (link below) on the rash for a week or so. If after treating it, it does not look better then you should take him to your vet for an exam.
