Black spots in the hair follicles don't always mean that there is a problem. Using a dog shampoo that contains benzoyl peroxide will help flush the follicles.

I would not add chlorhexidine mouth wash since I am not sure the other ingredients in the mouth wash would be good for the skin. Can you buy MalAcetic Shampoo by Dechra online in the UK? It is a good antibacterial and antifungal combo shampoo.

It is illegal for us to recommend specific antibiotics since I haven't physically examined Heisenberg. But most simple skin pyodermas clear up with a topical treatment.
